Mumbai/IBNS-CMEDIA: After a strong opening at the Indian box office, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day continued its impressive run on the second day, taking its two-day collection past the Rs. 100 crore mark.
Crosses Rs. 100 crore in two days
The film, which earned Rs. 60.60 crore net on its opening day on Thursday, added another Rs. 50 crore net on Friday, taking its total domestic collection to over Rs. 110 crore net, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
The English version contributed the lion’s share of the earnings, collecting over Rs. 60 crore net across two days.
The Hindi-dubbed version also performed strongly, grossing around Rs. 39 crore, while the remaining collections came from the regional-language versions.
About the film
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the fourth solo Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), with Tom Holland reprising his role as Peter Parker. The film was released in India on July 30, 2026.
The story picks up after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), where Doctor Strange’s spell erased Peter Parker’s identity from everyone’s memory, leaving him to rebuild his life from scratch.

Unlike the multiverse-centric No Way Home, Brand New Day shifts the focus to Peter rebuilding his life in New York while balancing the responsibilities of being Spider-Man.

The title Brand New Day is inspired by Marvel Comics’ 2008 storyline of the same name, which marked a fresh beginning in Peter Parker’s life after his marriage to Mary Jane Watson was erased from history.
While the film borrows the title and the concept of a fresh start, Marvel Studios has clarified that it is not a direct adaptation of the comic storyline. Instead, it uses the premise of Peter beginning life anew after losing his identity and personal relationships.
