CMEDIA: Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky in his 12-minute address to the Canadian Parliament on March 15 applauded Canada for all its support but added that Ukrainians need more support from Canada to stop the war.
Being both the focal point for a massive allied effort to defend his country, Zelensky is reportedly one of the most admired political leaders in the Western world.
In his address, Zelensky sought to personalize the war by shrinking the distance between his war-torn country and the relative safety of Canada by asking Canadians to “imagine” their own country being attacked.
Zelensky even asked Trudeau to imagine the effect of the impact of bombs falling on the airport in Ottawa on his own children.
