City of Toronto hosts conference on India’s terrorism confrontation initiatives

Toronto/CMEDIA: A conference was hosted by the City of Toronto recently to discuss the initiatives taken by India to confront terrorism as a global threat.

With an aim to address the challenges posed by various forms of terrorism, including Khalistani extremism, the conference also explored reports Asian Lite, the funding of such activities, some of which originate from Pakistan.

Several experts, policymakers, and scholars attending the event reportedly discussed the Khalistani terrorism trouble and measures to counter it.

The key discussions and recommendations put forward by the four distinguished speakers during the conference was summarized in a report.

Martin Forget, Michael Giles, Broaden Roth and Mario Silva reportedly by Asian Lite shared their expertise in a report on global terrorism and the need to tame it with a united force.

Martin Forget, an expert in counterterrorism, provided insights into the nature of Khalistani terrorism and its global implications highlighted the historical background of the Khalistan movement and its evolution into a terrorist organization.

While shedding light on the crucial issue of funding Khalistani terrorism, with a particular focus on the role played by Pakistan, Broaden Roth, an expert in terrorism financing discussed the various channels through which funds are credited to Khalistani terrorist groups and the need for robust measures to disrupt these financial flows.
