Dr. Wendy Ellis

Dr. Wendy Ellis is the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, which comprises the School of Dental Health, the School of Allied Health, and the Sally Horsfall Eaton School of Nursing. In this capacity, she provides strategic and academic leadership for the Faculty, overseeing the Clinical Placement Office and the internationally recognized and accredited Simulation Centre.
With more than two decades of experience in clinical practice, research, and higher education, Dr. Ellis has held a variety of leadership positions that reflect her commitment to academic and professional excellence. She possesses extensive expertise in the development of interprofessional clinical programs within acute care hospital systems and has successfully led numerous interprofessional practice and education initiatives across Canada. Her work in teaching and learning at both the university and college levels—as an educator, researcher, and administrator—has informed her commitment to fostering excellence through scholarship, innovation, and collaboration.
Dr. Ellis also contributes to the broader academic and professional community through active participation on several boards and committees, which addresses regulatory issues significant to both educators and governing bodies. Her research interests include interprofessional collaborative practice models, patient safety, quality of care, learner success, and simulation-based education.

Murarilal Thapliyal

Murarilal Thapliyal has been a practicing lawyer in Brampton for over 17 years, with a track record of leadership and community service. As a social activist and community leader, he has been dedicated to supporting charitable causes through the Thapliyal Foundation, contributing to organizations like Sai Dham Food Bank and Sick Kids since 2010.
He has been recognized by the City of Brampton with the Multicultural Community Long Serving Award and has been awarded for his commitment to charity and community welfare. Murarilal is currently the Ambassador of Peel Police, where he actively contributes to public safety initiatives.

Sanjay Kumar Prasher

Sanjay Prasher, B.Sc., MBA (UBS, Panjab University, Chandigarh) is a distinguished entrepreneur, global mobility strategist, and regulated Canadian immigration professional with over 25 years of experience in international business and immigration advisory.
Mr. Prasher began his corporate journey with globally respected pharmaceutical leaders such as GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Merck & Co., where he held managerial positions and developed a strong foundation in strategic planning, compliance, and client-focused operations.

My adventure began at SKYLINK, where I progressed from Sales Manager to General Manager, gaining invaluable insights along the way. In 2018, I established CTS Fares Canada, which quickly became a prominent consolidator in the industry. The acquisition by Mondee in 2020 was a significant milestone, and by 2022, I took pride in seeing Mondee listed on Nasdaq, with myself leading its Canadian operations.
Currently, I hold the position of Executive Vice President at Voyzant, where I oversee North American and global operations, concentrating on growth and expansion. My dedication to community service has remained steadfast since I joined the Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) in 2008. I was honored to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Pin in recognition of my commitment.
