Cons Gen Of India Toronto office organises special Consular Camp in Brampton for Indian National Truckers

Keeping in view the nature of work of truckers and on their persistent demand, a special
consular camp for Indian nationals working in trucking industry is being organized reportedly by the Cons Gen Of India Toronto office.

The following are being provided to facilitate easier and faster submission of their applications for passport renewal and police clearance certificate (PCC) services.

In this camp, Indian passport holders who are working as truck driver holding Class A/D license can submit their passport renewal and/or PCC application.

  1. Following documents are required to be submitted for reissue of passport due to expiry of
    validity / exhaustion of visa pages (without changes in particulars of current passport):
    i) Filled-in online passport application from this link and its print-out (https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/)
    ii) Current Indian Passport (Original and Copy)
    iii) Annexure E – Specimen declaration of the Applicant on a plain paper

    iv) Any one of the following as proof of present Canadian address – Class A or D driving
    license/Government issued Photo ID/Tax statement/Rental agreement/Utility Bills
    v) Proof of valid immigration status in Canada (Work Permit or PR)
    vi) Fees (CAD 105.70 for normal processing and CAD 307.70 for tatkal) – Debit Card or cash.
    vii) Two recent photographs as per specification.

  2. Following documents are required to be submitted for applying PCC:
    i) Duly filled-in online application on this link and its print out: https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in/
    ii) Original valid Indian passport and it’s self-attested copy.
    iii) Any one of the following as proof of present Canadian address – Class A or D driving
    license/Government issued Photo ID/Tax statement/Rental agreement/Utility Bills
    iv) Proof of valid immigration status in Canada (Work Permit or PR)
    v) Fees of CAD 38.70 – Debit Card or cash.
    vi) One recent photograph
