Markham talent open casting call extends application deadline to June 16 at 5 pm EST!

Markham, Ontario – June 10, 2024:  Due to overwhelming interest and demand, the Markham Talent Open Casting Call application deadline has been extended.   We are now accepting applications for our highly anticipated showcase event upto June 16 at 5 PM EST.

This unique opportunity is open to performers of all ages and talents, whether you’re a singer, songwriter, band, musician, dancer, actor, model, comedian, or have any special skill to showcase. The Markham Talent Open Casting Call offers a platform for individuals to shine and share their talent with a supportive and enthusiastic audience.

“We are thrilled to see such a tremendous response from the community,” said Councillor Amanda Yeung Collucci, executive producer of Markham Talent.   “Extending the application deadline gives more talented individuals the chance to participate and share their passion with us. We can’t wait to see the incredible talent that Ontario has to offer!”

To apply for the Markham Talent Open Casting Call, simply visit our website at www.markhamtalent.ca and submit your application by the new deadline of June 16 at 5pm EST. Selected participants will have the opportunity to showcase their talent on stage in front of a live audience and potentially win exciting prizes.

OMNI Television, recognized as Canada’s only multilingual and multicultural television broadcaster, brings a wealth of experience and diverse viewership to the table. Owned by Rogers Sports & Media, a subsidiary of Rogers Communications, OMNI TV is a prominent Canadian television system comprising a group of specialty channels.

Sing Tao Chinese Radio is a Mandarin and Cantonese speaking radio station serving the Chinese community and listeners can tune into the radio station at AM 1540.

Tickets to view the semi-finals and finals are $25 and all proceeds will help Markham Arts Council drive economic growth in arts, culture, and tourism sectors within the City of Markham.

●      A non-refundable competition Registration is $50 per registrant – includes 2 free tickets to the semifinals.
