Toronto/CMEDIA: A vivid art exhibit that bridges continents and cultures would reportedly be presented this spring by the Yonge North York Business Improvement Area (BIA) from March 15-April 30.
Featuring authentic, hand-made silk lanterns direct from Sichuan, China, Yonge North York Spring Lanterns’ multiple displays are set to light up various locations across the Yonge North York community until April 30th.
Celebrated for its spicy cuisine and stunning landscapes, Sichuan Province boasts a centuries-old tradition of making decorative silk lanterns as a symbol of luck and community spirit, integral to festive celebrations
Sichuan is also the natural habitat of the cherished giant panda, which like the lanterns signifies prosperity and good fortune in Chinese culture.
Inviting locals and visitors alike to explore and enjoy these beautiful pieces of art in the Yonge North York BIA, Laura Burnham, Executive Director of Yonge North York BIA reportedly said that Yonge North York BIA is thrilled to celebrate the diverse community that makes our district vibrant by showcasing these fantastical lantern displays at Yonge North York.
