IBNS: Smartphone maker TECNO on Wednesday announced actress Deepika Padukone as its brand ambassador.

Earlier this month, Arijeet Talapatra had said the company expects to launch 15 to 20 models next year.
“Our complete focus next year will be on serving the consumers,” he told IBNS during an event held at The Prime Mobile and Gadget Store in Kolkata.
“We are planning to launch 15 to 20 models next year and the focus will mostly remain on 5G as it is witnessing a rapid adoption,” he said.
He said the company does not have any plan to open dedicated stores at present but will continue to remain associated with top stores across the country.
“In India, 5G adoption is moving fast. We expect that from 2024 the above 12K segment will remain mostly focussed on 5G but the below 10K market will concentrate on 4G,” Talapatra said.
