IBNS-CMEDIA: Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, was born on Kartik Puranmashi, in 1469 in the village of Talwandi (now Nankana Sahib). This year marks the 554th anniversary of his birth, celebrated as Prakash Purb by Sikhs around the world.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life and teachings were a beacon of enlightenment and unity, emphasizing the Oneness of God, the equality of all humanity, and the importance of living a truthful and compassionate life. He traveled extensively throughout India, Central Asia, and the Middle East, spreading his message of love, peace, and tolerance.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Teachings
Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings are enshrined in the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of the Sikhs. His message is universal and resonates with people of all faiths and backgrounds. Some of his key teachings include:

Prakash Purb Celebrations
