IBNS-CMEDIA: BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, who is leading an all-party delegation in several nations, has criticised Pakistan’s military establishment and said Generals in the neighbouring nation use terrorists as tools to destabilise India.
During a community event in Berlin, Jaishankar compared the progress made by India in multiple sectors, including space and IT, while Pakistan, despite being created in the same year, has repeatedly failed in wars.
“India and Pakistan were born the same day. Where are we in India, and where are they (Pakistan)? India has become a major global IT power in the world. India has become an emerging space power in the world,” Prasad said during the event as quoted by ANI.
“The startup movements here are now globally recognised. India has also become the second biggest mobile phone manufacturer in the world. We have brought digital transformation with equity and justice,” Prasad said.
“What Pakistan is doing is creating terror machines. How to create world-class terrorists under their (military) Generals. They attacked us four times and lost every time. We never attacked; they were the ones who always started the war. It is because they are under the control of Generals and not political leaders. Generals want conflict to keep themselves relevant, and terrorists are the instruments through which they execute. Wherever there is a terrorist, either he is a Pakistani or trained in Pakistan,” he said.
Speaking on Pahalgam terror attack, Jaishankar said: “Operation Sindoor is on pause, subject to the good behaviour of Pakistan. It has not ended.”
The All-Party Parliamentary Delegation, led by Ravi Shankar Prasad, MP and former Union Minister, concluded its successful visit to Germany with an interaction with members of the Indian community in the country.
All participants observed a two-minute silence in solemn memory and honour of the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
During the interaction with members of Indian diaspora, the delegation underscored that the Pahalgam terror attack was a deliberate attempt to derail progress and economic development in Jammu & Kashmir and to sow communal tensions, which was completely thwarted by the united response of all Indians against this dastardly attack.
They further highlighted India’s firm, precise, and non-escalatory response to the heinous attack, and reiterated India’s principled position of zero-tolerance against terrorism.
The delegation members conveyed India’s clear position that there is no differentiation between terrorists and those who aid or shelter them.
