IBNS-CMEDIA: Tech giant Hisense has opened its first Product Experience Centre in India along with its new headquarters at AIPL Masterpiece in Gurugram.

The centre brings together Hisense products across televisions, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and other home appliances, along with Toshiba televisions. It offers partners, stakeholders and consumers a consolidated view of the brands’ current and upcoming product portfolios in India.

The centre showcases Hisense’s latest television technologies, including its RGB MiniLED TVs and Laser TV, as well as its Intelli Cool Pro series air conditioners and recently launched top-load and semi-automatic washing machines.

Among the flagship products on display are Hisense’s UX RGB MiniLED TVs in 100-inch and 116-inch sizes, along with Toshiba’s 85ZXSP 85-inch television.

The upcoming portfolio showcased at the centre includes smart-screen and double-door refrigerators, Triple Drum X-Zone Master and front-load washing machines, Hisense Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, dishwashers, and small domestic appliances such as microwave ovens and air fryers.

The company said these products will be introduced in India in phases at regular intervals.

Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, CEO, Hisense India, said, “The opening of our first Product Experience Centre in India marks an important milestone in our journey in the country. We are expanding beyond televisions to build a full-fledged multi-category consumer appliances brand, supported by a wider retail presence, a growing product portfolio and increasing localisation.”

“The centre brings our Hisense and Toshiba TV portfolios together and gives our partners and stakeholders an opportunity to experience the products we have in the market today and those planned for India in the coming months,” he added.

Rana said the company’s focus will remain on bringing relevant products and technology to Indian consumers while building a strong and long-term presence in the market.

The Experience Centre comes as Hisense India continues to expand its offline retail presence across the country through leading retail partners, including myG, Nandilath, Reliance Digital, Sonovision, Khosla Electronics, Patra Electronics, Sathya Agencies and Great Eastern Retail. The company also maintains a presence across major online platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart.

Offline channels are expected to contribute nearly 70 per cent of Hisense India’s business this year, highlighting the growing importance of physical retail in the company’s expansion strategy.

Hisense is targeting growth from US$100 million to US$150 million by calendar year 2026 (CY26), with the upcoming festive season expected to provide additional momentum to sales.

The company has also strengthened its commitment to local manufacturing with the launch of its first manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The facility is currently manufacturing washing machines and air conditioners.

Hisense India said it will continue to focus on local manufacturing, product localisation and developing products tailored to the needs of Indian consumers as it expands its presence in the country.
