New York/IBNS-CMEDIA: Hollywood star Dakota Johnson made a striking appearance at the Kering Foundation’s Fifth Annual Caring for Women Dinner in New York City on September 10, turning heads in a dramatic black Valentino gown.

Dakota Johnson’s bold look

Styled by Kate Young, Johnson opted for a plunging, form-fitting gown featuring a prominent cutout extending towards her stomach, flowing sleeves and a mermaid-style skirt.

The dramatic ensemble was completed with a long train.

The actor paired the look with Messika jewellery, while her newly darkened brunette hair added an edgier touch to her overall appearance.

Star-studded Kering Foundation dinner

The event, held at The Pool in Manhattan during New York Fashion Week, brought together several major names from Hollywood, fashion and sports, including Salma Hayek Pinault, Pamela Anderson, Simone Biles, Paris Hilton and Rita Ora.

The annual dinner is organised by the Kering Foundation to raise funds and awareness for organisations working to combat gender-based violence.

The 2026 edition raised more than $5 million for four beneficiary organisations.
