IBNS-CMEDIA: iCloud+ subscribers in India will gain access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade as part of their subscription at no additional cost, Apple has announced.
The expanded subscription will allow users to back up, store and share personal content across their Apple devices through iCloud, while also providing access to Apple TV’s original films and series and hundreds of games on Apple Arcade.
With Family Sharing, users can share their iCloud+ subscription with up to five family members.
“We’re excited to bring Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users in over 100 countries in one convenient subscription,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services and Health.
“iCloud+ users can now securely store and share personal content across their devices, enjoy the absolute best in original storytelling from Apple TV, and explore an incredible lineup of hundreds of games through Apple Arcade,” he added.
Apple TV entertainment
As part of the expanded offering, iCloud+ subscribers will receive access to Apple TV, including its original drama and comedy series, feature films, documentaries, and kids and family programming.
The service features titles including the multi-Emmy Award-winning The Studio and Ted Lasso, global hit Severance, Apple’s Pluribus, Academy Award Best Picture winner CODA, and F1, which Apple says is the highest-grossing sports feature of all time.
Since its global launch in November 2019, Apple TV has received more than 900 awards and over 3,800 nominations for its original films, documentaries and series.
Apple TV is available through the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV 4K, Mac, compatible smart TVs and gaming consoles, as well as through the web.
Apple Arcade included
iCloud+ subscribers in India will also receive unlimited access to Apple Arcade, Apple’s gaming subscription service featuring a catalogue of more than 200 games.
The catalogue includes titles such as Football Manager 26 Touch, NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition and Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition, alongside games including Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Sneaky Sasquatch, Angry Birds Reloaded and Cooking Mama: Cuisine!
Arcade games come without advertisements or in-app purchases and can be played offline. The service is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV 4K.
Apple Music offer
The expanded iCloud+ offering will also give users in India access to Apple Music Select, a collection of ad-free stations programmed by Apple Music.
Users who want the full Apple Music experience can subscribe separately at ₹115 per month for the Individual Plan or ₹145 per month for the Family Plan.
The full service includes features such as Spatial Audio, Lyrics Translation and AutoMix, along with curated playlists and exclusive content.
More iCloud+ benefits
Alongside Apple TV and Apple Arcade, iCloud+ subscribers receive additional storage and premium features, including event creation through the Apple Invites app and enhanced privacy tools.
Users can check their subscription status and manage their iCloud+ plan through the Settings app on their Apple devices.
