IBNS-CMEDIA: As Artificial intelligence is steadily moving beyond automation to redefine how institutions learn, connect and deliver services, Salesforce announced separate collaborations with Adamas University and Vivekananda Hospital Private Limited on Monday.

The collaboration is aimed at bringing AI-driven customer relationship management solutions to the fields of academia and healthcare.

Arundhati Bhattacharya, President and CEO at Salesforce, South Asia, said “The AI era will not be defined by technology alone but by the quality of talent, we build to harness it responsibly.”

Salesforce enables organisations to become agentic enterprises by integrating humans, agents, applications and data on a trusted, unified platform, helping unlock new opportunities for growth, innovation and operational efficiency.

“As AI reshapes every industry, universities have an unprecedented opportunity to move beyond imparting knowledge to creating problem-solvers who can apply AI, data and digital technologies to solve real-world business challenges,” Bhattacharya, who is the former SBI chairperson, added.

With this objective, Adamas University and Vivekananda Hospital Private Limited have partnered with Salesforce to enhance learning experiences and strengthen patient engagement through AI-powered technologies.

Professor Dr. Samit Ray, Chancellor of Adamas University, said, “Our collaboration with Salesforce through this Centre of Excellence reflects our commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry by providing students with immersive, hands-on learning in AI-powered technologies and the Salesforce ecosystem. We are delighted to partner with Salesforce in creating future-ready professionals who will contribute meaningfully to businesses and society.”

For Adamas University, the collaboration will provide students and faculty with hands-on access to Salesforce technologies, including Agentforce, the Agentforce 360 Platform, Tableau and Data 360.

By embedding these tools into the curriculum, the university aims to equip learners with practical experience in building AI-powered applications, developing enterprise workflows, creating analytics dashboards and solving real-world business challenges using technologies adopted by leading organisations worldwide.

Sumonjit Dutta, Director of Vivekananda Hospital Pvt. Ltd., said, “Our collaboration with Salesforce is helping us build a more connected and intelligent patient engagement ecosystem by giving our teams a unified view of patient information, improving visibility into field operations, and enabling more effective lead management.”

At Vivekananda Hospital Private Limited, the solution has been built on the Agentforce 360 Platform and integrated with the hospital’s Hospital Information Management System (HIMS), connecting previously fragmented data and workflows across the organisation.

Soumily Dutta, Director of Vivekananda Hospital Pvt. Ltd., said, “By adopting Salesforce’s AI-powered platform, we are creating a connected ecosystem that brings together patient engagement, doctor relationships and operational workflows to enable seamless experiences, informed decisions and personalised care.”

The implementation includes Patient 360, Doctor 360, Beat Planning and Campaign Management, providing teams with a comprehensive, real-time view of patients and doctors while enabling field teams to plan outreach more effectively.
