Mumbai/IBNS-CMEDIA: Bollywood star Alia Bhatt’s first-look poster from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming Hindi film Love & War was unveiled by the makers on Friday.
The production house shared Alia’s dramatic first-look image, featuring the actor in an elaborate feathered headdress and a sparkling red outfit, exuding glamour and intensity.
The caption, “Aag bhi, dilon ki jaan bhi!”, highlights the film’s themes of passion, desire and emotional intensity, while reflecting Bhansali’s signature visual grandeur.
Alia also shared the poster on her personal Instagram handle with the caption, “Reunited …”
Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal lead the film
Love & War is a romantic war drama and love triangle starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
The film marks Ranbir’s reunion with Bhansali after Saawariya. It is scheduled to release theatrically on January 21, 2027.
Bhansali previously collaborated with Alia in the 2022 blockbuster Gangubai Kathiawadi.
The film also marks a reunion between Alia and Vicky after their 2018 film Raazi.
Ranbir and Vicky play Armed Forces officers
Set against a contemporary wartime backdrop, Love & War revolves around two Indian Armed Forces officers.
Ranbir’s character is portrayed as dark and aggressive, while Vicky’s role is described as calm yet strong-willed, setting up a tense rivalry between the two.
With Bhansali at the helm, Love & War brings together the three actors in a story combining romance, conflict and war.
