IBNS-CMEDIA: Rockstar Games has announced that buyers eagerly awaiting the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 will receive a code-in-a-box version of the game for consoles instead of a physical disc.
“The pre-load file will require up to 212 GB depending on your device, so make sure you’ve got ample space to begin pre-loading as soon as possible,” the makers of the game said in a statement.
Reminding gamers that there is still an opportunity to secure their copy of the much-awaited title, the company said: “There’s still time to pre-order and ensure you’re able to experience Grand Theft Auto VI when it launches on November 19.”
Digital pre-loading on PlayStation 5 will begin at midnight on Tuesday, November 10.
For Xbox Series X|S users, pre-loading will begin globally at 12 a.m. GMT on the same day.
Meanwhile, Rockstar Games announced that it will release official printable Grand Theft Auto VI cover art and a map of Leonida as free digital downloads on its official website on November 19.
A double-sided physical version of the poster will also be made available shortly after the game’s launch through the Rockstar Store. It will be priced at $0.99 when purchased separately and offered as a free gift with any purchase from the store.
Recently, the developers further fuelled excitement among gamers by unveiling several screenshots from the highly anticipated title, offering fans a glimpse into the game’s world and sparking speculation about what they can expect from the upcoming release.
