2024 Hot Docs Festival to present Rogers Audience Award with accompanying $50,000 cash prize

Toronto/CMEDIA: Hot Docs has announced that the Rogers Audience Award accompanied by $50,000 cash prize, courtesy of Rogers, for best Canadian documentary will be presented at the 2024 Hot Docs Festival on May 5.

As part of Hot Docs Festival, Feature-length documentaries screening with a Canadian director and CAVCO certified will be eligible for the Rogers Audience Award.

Voting in cinemas by audience members can be done by scanning the QR code on screen after the film.

Voting closes 60 minutes after each screening.

After tallying the votes, the winning films with the highest average scores will be announced at a special encore screening on Sunday, May 5.
