IBNS-CMEDIA: Hollywood actress Gal Gadot has shared her perspective on the poor performance of Disney’s live-action Snow White remake at the Box Office, claiming that it was partially due to “pressure” in Hollywood to “speak against Israel” amid the ongoing Gaza conflict.

Gadot told  Israeli TV program “The A Talks”, as quoted by Variety: “You know, this happens a lot in various industries, including Hollywood.”

She said, “There’s pressure on celebrities to speak against Israel. And, you know, it happened.”

“I can always explain and try to give context about what’s happening here. And I always do that. But in the end, people make their own decisions. And I was disappointed that the movie was incredibly affected by all of that and that it didn’t do well at the box office. But that’s how it goes. You win some, you lose some,” she further said.

Disney’s Snow White, or simply Snow White, is a 2025 American musical fantasy film that is a live-action reimagining[9] of Walt Disney’s 1937 animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, itself based on the 1812 fairy tale “Snow White” by the Brothers Grimm.

Produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Marc Platt Productions, the film was directed by Marc Webb and written by Erin Cressida Wilson.

It stars Rachel Zegler as the title character, a princess who escapes assassination by her stepmother, the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot), and joins with Seven Dwarfs] and a rogue bandit named Jonathan (Andrew Burnap) to reclaim her kingdom.
