Canteen Pub & Grub has curated an extensive list of refreshing summer cocktails made with fresh, exotic ingredients and a dash of dhaakad desi twist.
What’s on the menu?
The summer cocktail fest offers the Aam Ka Technology is a mango lover’s delight – a perfect blend of tequila, jalapenos and freshly pressed mango juice.
Vodka lovers can choose from Fruit Ghotala (a perfect blend of fresh seasonal fruits, orange spritz and vodka), Khatta-Meetha-Kharbooj (vodka-based cocktail infused with tamarind and tabasco with a twist of fresh watermelon juice), Baby-Ko-Basil-Pasand-Hai (comprises vodka, basil, lemon juice, cinnamon syrup and strawberry) or Anar-Ki-Maar (vodka, fresh lemon juice, fresh pomegranate juice and vanilla essence).
Captain Hook’s Spiced Rum, which is a white rum-based drink alongside homemade spice syrup or Lime-N-Lemony-Rum, a blend of white rum, basil leaf muddle, lemon juice and limca are also available.
Canteen’s summer-infused cocktails have also included gin-infused drinks for gin connoisseurs
Rose Mary-Mar-Lo (gin and grapefruit with a twist of lavender and rosemary) and Kheera-Ka-Kaamal (gin, cucumber & thyme sour, aromatic bitter, topped with tonic). For whisky lovers, they have 42 Inch-Ka-Cina, which is a heady combination of whisky, cinnamon, ginger and flavoured sparkling water.
White Wine Sangria with a dash of seasonal fruits, Peach Sangria, Rose Sangria, and Spice Sangria, to name but a few, are among the pitcher selections on the Canteen’s summer-inspired cocktails list.
“We want the people of Kolkata to enjoy the unique aromatic cocktails with a touch of Bengali spices and seasonal fruits, which will make them feel refreshed in the city’s humid climate,” stated Sujit Thakur, Canteen Pub & Grub’s mixologist.
