Saskatchewan’s law enforcement experts reported saying that during RCMP‘s search for Saskatchewan stabbing suspect Myles Sanderson dragging into a day, RCMP reported saying that it was determined to prove that it has learned from past failures , including the Nova Scotia mass shootings in 2020 as the search .
Contrary to RCMP’s issuing an emergency alert to phones telling residents about a report of a possible sighting of Sanderson, it was determined by the police on Tuesday that Sanderson was not on the James Smith Cree Nation.
Wanted over a series of attacks that killed 10 people and 8 wounded in James Smith Cree Nation and nearby Weldon, Sask., on Sunday, Sanderson, 32, is also under investigation in the death of his brother, Damien, who was also sought over the killings.
Dangerous person alerts remain in place across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba.
