Mumbai/IBNS-CMEDIA: Filmmaker-producer Karan Johar on Wednesday reacted to the incident where a woman CISF security staff slapped actress-MP-elect Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport a week ago.

When he asked about the incident, Karan said, “I do not support or condone any form of violence, verbal or physical.”

The popular filmmaker, with whom Kangana shares a strenuous relationship, made the comment during a press conference for his upcoming release, Kill, which he has produced.

Kangana, who won the Lok Sabha polls on a BJP ticket from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi, was slapped at the airport by Kulwinder Kaur, when the actress was on her way to board a Vistara flight.

Kangana had alleged that a CISF security official at Chandigarh Airport slapped her when she was proceeding to board the flight to reach New Delhi.

Kaur, who has been suspended, said she slapped as a response to Kangana’s controversial remark during the farmers’ protest.

“My mother was in the protest when she had made the remark,” the suspended CISF security official was heard saying.

Kangana had earlier slammed Bollywood for remaining mum on the incident.

In an Instagram story, which she later deleted, Kangana said, “Dear film industry, you all are either celebrating or are totally mum on the airport attack on me remember if tomorrow if you walking disarmingly on some street of your country or anywhere else in the world and some Israeli / Palestinian hits you or your children just because you tried to bring eyes to Rafah or stood up for Israeli hostage… then you will see I will be fighting for your rights of free speech, if someday you wonder why I am where I am remember you are not me.”
