Due to a lot of suffering around the world GAIN realizes that people are living in spiritual, physical, social and economic poverty resulting in individuals suffering from injustice, powerlessness, and a lack of autonomy, and the root of it, poverty is a result of broken relationships between man, God, others and the environment.
GAiN envisions a world with flourishing communities where people are physically, emotionally and spiritually thriving…needs partners to make this possible,
Practically, GAIN sees poverty and injustice exhibited through…
- Lack of basic needs such as safe water, adequate sanitation and nutrition
- Little access to economic opportunities, resulting in a lack of earning potential and dignified livelihoods
- People stuck in war zones, conflicts and calamities
- Inequality due to gender, social, religious and ethnic discrimination
- Increased vulnerability of low income communities due to increasing frequency of natural disasters
- Girls not receiving educational opportunities due to cultural and societal expectations
- People not living a redemptive life because of their lack of understanding of God’s love for them
