Ottawa police have reportedly taken two women in custody after the death of their elderly mother in her eighties.
The death of the woman was reported just after midnight Monday, and is being investigated by the homicide unit, Ottawa police said.
Officers were called to the 1200 block of Bowmount Street in the Cyrville neighborhood, near St. Laurent Boulevard and Donald Street, at about 12:25 a.m., where the woman was found dead.
The deceased’s adult daughters were taken into custody, according to sources.
Release of either the names of the two women or the announcement of any charges has not been done by the Police.
