IBNS-CMEDIA: Goodluck India Ltd has entered into a strategic alliance with BrahMos Aerospace Thiruvananthapuram Ltd (BATL) and Axiscades Technologies Ltd to jointly bid for the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme.
The companies signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 30 to respond to the Expression of Interest issued by DRDO’s Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) for the manufacturing and supply of AMCA, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing.
The consortium combines Goodluck India’s manufacturing capabilities, BrahMos Aerospace’s defence expertise, and Axiscades’ systems integration and engineering strengths.
The partnership aims to advance India’s strategic autonomy in aerospace technology under the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
The AMCA programme, fully designed in India by ADA, envisions a fifth-generation stealth fighter equipped with advanced avionics, super-cruise capability, internal weapons bays, and electronic warfare systems.
Mahesh Chandra Garg, Chairman of Goodluck India Ltd, said the collaboration marked “another defining milestone” for the company and the wider vision of indigenous aerospace excellence.
