Dangerous person alert reportedly issued March 9 in the central Nova Scotia community at 5:13 p.m. local time for Colchester County, warning of dangerous people with a firearm in Millbrook was cancelled about two hours later following the arrest of two suspects.
Following a warning from an RCMP briefly urging residents of a central Nova Scotia community to shelter in their homes, two suspects were taken in police custody
A social media post issued by Mounties on Saturday afternoon regarding the presence of heavy police on a street in Millbrook as officers investigated possible gunshots, adding one man was in custody.
No description of the suspects was given by the alert which noted they were believed to be on foot and drivers shouldn’t pick up hitchhikers.
After the cancellation of the akert about two hours later following the arrest of two suspects, the police said they don’t believe there are any additional suspects, and added there was no longer a risk to the public.
