Toronto/CMEDIA: A special flag-raising ceremony was held this morning by the City of Toronto to celebrate the upcoming 2024 NBA season at Courtesy flagpole, Podium Roof, Toronto City Hall as the Toronto Raptors prepare to start off their 30th season tomorrow against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow was joined by Jamaal Magloire, Toronto Raptors alumnus and ambassador as well as by the Raptor, Raptors mascot and Bobby Webster, Toronto Raptors General Manager.
Local basketball fans were encouraged to wear their Raptors gear and show their support in person.
