IBNS: Blackpink’s Jisoo has revealed she is dating actor Ahn Bo-hyun, a rare instance in the South Korean entertainment industry where celebrities typically maintain secrecy over their relationships and personal life.
Ahn’s agency FN Entertainment confirmed the relationship to CNN on Thursday after local media reports that the pair had been spotted together in Seoul whipped up excitement among fans.
“The two are in a stage where they are getting to know each other slowly with good feelings. We would appreciate if you could watch the couple with a warm gaze,” the agency told the news channel.
Meanwhile, South Korean news agency Yonhap also carried a similar statement citing Blackpink’s record label YG Entertainment.
“They are currently in the phase of acquainting themselves with each other,” YG Entertainment was quoted as saying by Yonhap, confirming a media report on their relationship. “We would appreciate it if you extend warm support and understanding.”
Ahn Bo-hyun is a South Korean actor, model and television personality under FN Entertainment.
Since his acting debut in 2014, he has appeared in various films and television dramas.
Ahn achieved success and made a turning point within his acting career through Itaewon Class (2020).
He won the Excellence Award, Actor in an OTT Drama for his roles in Yumi’s Cells and My Name at the 8th APAN Star Awards (September 29, 2022).
