IBNS-CMEDIA: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has shared a new video on social media after an earlier clip featuring him was labelled as “AI-generated” by Grok, the chatbot developed by Elon Musk’s company xAI.
The latest video, posted on X, shows the Israeli Prime Minister walking around and interacting with civilians in Jerusalem as tensions remain high in the region amid the ongoing conflict with Iran.
In the footage, Netanyahu is seen speaking with locals and admiring the surroundings. “How beautiful. Thank you very much. Good. Let’s soak up some sun,” he says while chatting with people gathered there.
At one point in the video, Netanyahu notices a dog and asks about it. “Whose dog is this? What breed?” he asks. A woman responds that it is a “Canaanite-Israeli,” referring to the Canaan Dog, widely recognised as Israel’s national dog breed.

Netanyahu continues the conversation, saying, “Canaanite-Israeli, well done. It’s also good for her to get out a bit. It’s good for all of you. Did you come out to get some air?”
The clip also shows the Prime Minister discussing safety amid ongoing tensions. When a woman tells him that there is a protected shelter nearby, he replies, “Great, that’s what’s most important. The IDF will win, and we will protect ourselves.”
The video comes days after questions about Netanyahu’s safety and the authenticity of videos featuring him began circulating online.
One clip from a press conference appeared to show the Israeli leader with six fingers on one hand, prompting claims on social media that the footage may have been generated using artificial intelligence.
Netanyahu had earlier dismissed rumours about his death and addressed the controversy in another video posted on Sunday from The Sataf in the Jerusalem Hills. In that clip, he joked about the speculation while ordering coffee.
“I am dead… for coffee,” he said, using a Hebrew expression that loosely translates to loving something very much. “You know what? I’m ‘dying’ for my people.”
During the video, Netanyahu also raised both hands toward the camera and displayed his fingers, appearing to mock claims that one of the earlier clips showed him with six fingers.
The controversy has unfolded against the backdrop of escalating hostilities between Israel, the United States and Iran.
The conflict has now entered its 17th day following joint strikes carried out by Israel and the US on Iranian targets last month.
The attacks reportedly killed Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, triggering a wider confrontation across the Middle East.
