Mumbai/IBNS-CMEDIA: Hanuman Ansh director Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi and producer Namrata G Singh have issued a statement warning against individuals claiming to represent the film, amid reports of a disagreement within the team behind the project.
The reported disagreement emerged after one of the producers allegedly received greater attention than the others during the film’s publicity campaign.
In an official statement, Chaturvedi and Singh claimed to be authorised to handle the film’s public relations, marketing and other official engagements. They also clarified that no individual producer could independently enter into business arrangements concerning the project.
The two further stated that the company would not recognise any dealings conducted independently with individual producers.
Producers clarify film rights and authorised representation
The official statement read, “Hanuman Ansh has one authorised channel.”
It further clarified that all rights related to the film, including theatrical, streaming, broadcast, music, gaming and licensing, are jointly held by the producers and must be dealt with according to the agreements signed between them.
“Namrata G Singh and Dr Vishal Chaturvedi are solely authorised to direct public relations, marketing, awards and partnerships on behalf of the Company. All day-to-day coordination with partners, platforms and media is carried out through them,” the statement added.
According to a report by The Indian Express, disagreements reportedly emerged over the film’s publicity and the prominence received by individual producers.
Anupriya Nagar had become particularly visible during the film’s promotional activities, interviews and media interactions. This reportedly led to concerns within the team that one producer was receiving more attention than the others.
What is Hanuman Ansh about?
The film draws inspiration from the life and spiritual teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly known as Maharajji.
