IBNS-CMEDIA: Indian actor Alia Bhatt returned to the spotlight at Cannes Film Festival 2026 with a glamorous red carpet appearance, hours after impressing fans with her first look earlier in the day.
Representing L’Oréal Paris as a global ambassador, Alia walked the red carpet in a blush-toned couture gown by Tamara Ralph.

The strapless gown featured a curved bustier neckline and a structured corset-style bodice that highlighted her silhouette.
Adding an Indian-inspired touch, the look included a matching dupatta-style drape around her arms, blending classic red carpet glamour with subtle traditional elements.

Alia completed the ensemble with a statement gemstone necklace and matching earrings, keeping the styling elegant and refined.
This marks Alia Bhatt’s second appearance at Cannes after her widely discussed debut in 2025, when she wore a custom Gucci outfit inspired by the sari.

Before the red carpet event, Alia had already made waves with a fairytale-inspired custom gown by Yash Patil for a daytime appearance at the French Riviera.
The vintage-inspired look featured a structured bodice, voluminous skirt and hand-painted artwork by Basuri Chokshi celebrating the landscapes of the Riviera.
Strong Indian presence at Cannes 2026
This year’s festival is expected to see several Indian celebrities in attendance, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ashutosh Gowariker, Karan Johar, Tara Sutaria, Mouni Roy and Pooja Batra.
The 2026 edition of the Cannes Film Festival runs from May 12 to May 23 in France.
