IBNS-CMEDIA: The BAPS Hindu Mandir Abu Dhabi is set to reopen its doors to devotees on April 14, following a temporary closure of nearly 40 days amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
Advance registration required for visitors
The temple has advised devotees to register in advance through Mandir.ae/visit or via the BAPS Mandir mobile application before planning their visit.
“From Tuesday, 14 April, the BAPS Hindu Mandir Abu Dhabi warmly welcomes all visitors once again,” the temple said in a post on Instagram.
Visiting hours announced
Devotees can visit the temple from Tuesday to Sunday between 9 am and 8 pm. The temple will remain closed on Mondays.
Message from temple leadership
Swami Brahmaviharidas, Head of the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, said in a message that the temple community had continued to serve society “selflessly and spiritually with courage, compassion, and prayers” during the closure period.
“With God’s grace and prayers from millions, the BAPS Hindu Mandir through its saints and volunteers has served society selflessly and spiritually with courage, compassion, and prayers,” he said.
He further added that the temple represents a space of unity and peace: “The Mandir is our home in a nation where everyone feels at home. Safe and peaceful.”
Encouraging devotees to visit with faith and hope, he said: “Please come with all your faith, all your hopes and all your prayers for your families, your friends, our future and the able, stable and commendable leadership of the UAE and all the wise leaders of the world who believe in love, peace and harmony.”
