Toronto/CMEDIA: Pride Toronto reportedly unveils its 2026 Festival theme, “We Won’t Stop” celebrating the strength, unity, and collective spirit of its community.

As a powerful follow-up to last year’s theme, ‘All In. While All In’, this year’s theme ‘We Won’t Stop’ honors generations of triumphs and the connections that make us whole and  takes that momentum further.

It is a reminder that with the ongoing fight for freedom, inclusion, and recognition every action, story, and voice is essential in continuing the progress it made together.

What We Won’t Stop Means

  • We Won’t Stop celebrates the vibrant diversity, honouring our history, and creating spaces where every identity and expression in 2SLGBTQI+ communities feels seen, valued, and celebrated.
  • We Won’t Stop remembers that the rights and visibility of today were hard-won honouring the trailblazers who came before and continuing their work with courage and conviction.
  • We Won’t Stop pushes forward for freedom, inclusion, recognition, and justice to build momentum that carries the community into the future.

As a rallying cry, this theme is a reminder that pride, resistance, joy, and solidarity remain powerful forces for change.

We Won’t Stop is both a promise and a call to action,” said Kojo Modeste, Executive Director of Pride Toronto. “It reflects our collective determination to keep showing up for one another, to protect the progress we’ve made, and to continue demanding a world where 2SLGBTQI+ communities can live freely, safely, and authentically.”

In 2025, more than 2.4 million people came together for the world’s second-largest Pride celebration. In 2026, Toronto will once again burst with culture, creativity, and community to honour the past, celebrate the present, and keep moving forward because together, We Won’t Stop.
