Being an Integral part of Hindu Community living in and around Scarborough, LNM observes Sunday Satsang and many other functions that take place at the Temple.

One of the groups, Golden Group of Seniors of LNM holds its monthly meeting on first Sunday of every month and also celebrates all the religious functions.

This Summer the golden group took a trip to Niagara Falls that was enjoyed by all who took the trip. Golden Group also holds Kavi Sammelan every year.

There is a lot of of time and effort involved for the preparation of this function such as the decorating the stage etc.

As always Anita Grotra and Naval Grotra did an awesome job of decorating the stage. It actually became a focal point and there were a lot of people admiring their work. Besides that, there is setting up the stage, organizing the chairs and above all getting food ready for all our guests and our own members.

I must mention Vimal Gupta ji’s and Tarun Vasudeva ji’s names for taking the lead in putting the function together with a lot of volunteers helping them.

I, Shakuntla Varma, as the President of the Golden Group, couldn’t have done all this alone and offer thanks to all my Directors for all their hard work and to Ashwani Bhardwaj and Ashwani Joshi ji for their support.

Towards the end of the program, we celebrated the Birthday of those members whose birthdays were in September. Cards were given and Happy Birthday songs were sung.

Kavi Sammelan function was adjourned at about 5:30 pm and the food was served to all. There was tea available also.

Afterthe cermony group photos were taken:
