CMEDIA: Toronto public is reportedly being notified about an arrest made by The Toronto Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Section (ICE) in a Child Sexual Abuse Material investigation.
As part of an investigation into the downloading of child sexual abuse material, members of ICE executed on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 a Criminal Code search warrant in the Avenue Road and Lawrence Avenue West area
Following this, John Bilokrely, 35, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with two counts of Possess Child Pornography, two counts of Access Child Pornography, and Make Available Child Pornography
During the search, a quantity of child sexual abuse material was located with the investigation being continued.
On Tuesday May 28, 2024, at 2 p.m., in room 105, he was scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 416-808-8500, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or at www.222tips.com.
Recognizing that parents and caregivers are the frontline when it comes to protecting children on the Internet and electronic devices, the Toronto Police Service encourages them to remain vigilant in their efforts.
